Trainsit Directions: Walk up the hill to the east of the Heritage C-Train Station.
Driving Directions: Turn east on Heritage Drive off of MacLeod Trail, turn left at the t-intersection, and then turn left into the parking lot and it’s almost directly ahead of you.
In this workshop we’ll be covering the fundamentals of sewing with a sewing machine, including:
- how to thread the machine
- the different parts and what they do (and why it’s important to know this)
- foundational stitches and techniques you’ll need to sew everything from totebags to formal wear
- troubleshooting strategies
